MY WORLD

Gemälde Mein Portal mit drei Toren

What does this portal mean?

My World is not a collection of works that must follow a particular order. It has grown over many years – through paintings, texts, books, photographs and music.

When I considered how I might present my works, I repeatedly discovered similar thoughts, principles and connections within them.

I therefore arranged my works not only by their type or the time in which they were created, but also by the thoughts and principles I find reflected in them. This gave rise to other paths through my world.

There is no right path and no prescribed sequence. You may encounter a painting, a poem, a thought or a piece of music. Some things may seem familiar; others may remain enigmatic.

That is intentional.

This portal does not seek to explain. It invites you to discover.

How does it work?

As you explore the portal with your mouse, you will gradually discover the principles I found while engaging with my works.

Move the mouse over the different areas of the portal. The corresponding terms will appear and invite you to choose one of them.

Wherever you encounter a bunch of grapes on your way through the portal, clicking it will provide additional information.

Clicking a term opens a path to my works that are connected with this principle.

The works you encounter are not predetermined. Let yourself be surprised and simply follow the path that arouses your curiosity.

There is no prescribed path through my world.
